What would you do if you had an hour, An hour to spend in Nowa Nowa? Come and play with my emu chicks, Don’t let your blood be sucked by tics.
Go to the playground beside the lake, Light a barbie and cook some steak, Go to the lookout and see the tower, Climb the mountain, Mount Nowa Nowa,
Echidnas waddle along the old rail trail, You might see a kangaroo balance on it’s tail, Down by the gorge there’s a Tarzan swing, There’s paper wasps but they don’t sting.
Hear saws screeching from the timber yard, And sounds from the workers who are working hard, The kids from Bung Yarnola love to fish and swim, Look at all the trees that they put in.
Watch the sea eagle take a laneway rabbit, A good ecological feeding habit, This is what you’d do if you ad an hour, An hour to spend in Nowa Nowa.
Nowa Nowa, mingling waters, History made by sons & daughters.
